By air
Local airports are all within an easy drive of the cottage - Angers, Tours and Nantes. Airlines serving these airports include British Airways, Ryanair, EasyJet and BMI. From Paris's international airport at Roissy, visitors can take the TGV ("Grandes Lignes") without even leaving the airport, and be in Angers in 2 hours.Car hire
Car hire and taxi services are available from the TGV station in Angers, as well as from all airports mentioned above.We have had very good service from a car hire broker in England called CarHireWarehouse. They are very responsive to email communication, and they usually beat the rates you can get from websites direct. But in particular, guests have found it very useful to have an english speaker at the end of the phone, for any problems with some of the challenges of renting in France (bank holidays, restrictive opening hours, breakdowns etc.).
