MONET Les Blanchardières is a traditional longère - or country cottage - built in the 1700s by the Marquis d'Andigné for his closest confidante, and was part of the estate of the adjoining château until 2001.  The cottage is one of the very few stone-built properties in the Loire available for rent.  The cottage is on two acres with original outbuildings including a charming pigeonnier, which was used to send messages by carrier pigeon to and from the château.
The adjoining château on 800ha is still the home of the Marquise d'Andigné today.
