We've enjoyed a lovely relaxing week here, it's been like a home from home. This is such a peaceful location and the cottage has been like a private hideaway. Reading in the garden, barbecues on the patio and swimming in the pool have been some of the not-so-strenuous activities. Do save time to visit the surrounding countryside, towns and villages. It is really beautiful. We are sad to leave, but hope to return to our little French refuge one day.

We knew we were going to like it here, but we were blown away completely by the gite, the local area and the Loire Valley in general. We loved Saumur, Villandry Château and the peaceful and idyllic setting. We all loved the cows who come to say goodnight. Some good books available too.

Had a wonderful week. The cottage and gardens are beautiful. Just what we needed, and real break from city life. We have previously booked to stay in houses both in the UK and abroad and yours was the most charming. The information book was very helpful and we did visit a couple of the local markets and a few of the attractions mentioned in the other book. We will recommend it to anyone who mentions wanting to go to France.

A very relaxing holiday, great weather, 28 degrees most days so the pool got full use. Enjoyed the wildlife: woodpeckers, owls, buzzards. Found the cows charming every morning.

We had a great time at Monet Les Blanchardières, especially with all the wonderful markets, chateaus and wine estates close by. After a day's sightseeing, our children always looked forward to returning to long evenings of fun by the beautiful pool. We even cycled en famille a few times to the local theme park at Échemiré - it was delightful. Thanks so much.

I just want to say how much we all enjoyed staying at Monet Les Blanchardières. We had a great week exploring the area and managed to visit Saumur, Angers and were impressed with the chateau at Azay Le Rideau. We dropped into a wonderful place south of Angers for a degustation and bought some great wine. We really appreciated the quietness of the cottage and the surrounding countryside.

What a beautiful cottage in a wonderful location!  The weather in March was nice and sunny during the day, and the log fire made it very snug during the crisp evenings. We're already planning our trip for next year.
