We had a wonderful time at Monet Les Blanchardières and our 2 week stay was over far too quickly for our liking, I could have happily stayed forever! The house itself was as good as it looked on your website and there was nothing we would want to change. The peaceful setting was very relaxing and we enjoyed spotting the wildlife in the surrounding area and gazing at the chateau. The pool was the best we have encountered in a rental property, particularly the children who wanted to be in it all of the time! The bedrooms were very comfortable and clean, and having the internet connection, which was excellent, kept us in touch with the world. We ventured out on the bikes several times to Brion and Fontaine- Guerin and around the surrounding area. We enjoyed a number of trips into Beaufort en Vallee and, in particular, Pain du Magie, where the bread was the best we found anywhere along with the croissants and pastries. We all thought your house was the best holiday home we had stayed in and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. Hopefully we will visit again some day.

We have had a stunning week at your fantastic property in the Loire. The weather was glorious and we had planned lots of visits and trips. However with two young grandchildren the pool won the contest hands down! The house is beautiful and we found the rooms/beds/bathrooms were very comfortable, with plenty of space for all. The quiet setting suited us perfectly and we made full used of the bikes, cycling to Beauford-en-Vallee several times, the children loved the small playground beside the library. We went to the Musee des Blindes (tank museum) in Saumur - it’s well worth a visit, for both young and old. We spent another day at Parc L’Etang in Brissac-Quince - this is a perfect spot for young children. The rest of the things on our list will have to wait for our next visit. The swimming pool is definitely the biggest attraction, especially as the weather was quite warm and the pool managed to keep us cool. The area is very well catered for in terms of shopping and markets (we got to a few). Wi-Fi was a huge advantage. Caretakers Peter and Anita were very welcoming and gave us all the information we needed. Thanks again for everything. Hopefully we will visit again at some stage.

We've enjoyed a lovely relaxing week here, it's been like a home from home. This is such a peaceful location and the cottage has been like a private hideaway. Reading in the garden, barbecues on the patio and swimming in the pool have been some of the not-so-strenuous activities. Do save time to visit the surrounding countryside, towns and villages. It is really beautiful. We are sad to leave, but hope to return to our little French refuge one day.

All in all, a very relaxing and restful holiday. The house is fantastic and well-equipped and we are very thankful that you have been willing to share it with us. Marilyn, David, Katrina, Andrea & Fiona Lee, Melbourne, Australia Things we enjoyed in the local area: The people - so down-to-earth and friendly. Domaine de la Tuffière winery, close by with a lovely personal tour.
Things we like about MONET Les Blanchardières: The colours, the gardens and pool.
Things we don't like about MONET Les Blanchardières: Leaving.
Thank you for letting us stay.

We knew we were going to like it here, but we were blown away completely by the gite, the local area and the Loire Valley in general. We loved Saumur, Villandry Château and the peaceful and idyllic setting. We all loved the cows who come to say goodnight. Some good books available too.

Had a wonderful week. The cottage and gardens are beautiful. Just what we needed, and real break from city life. We have previously booked to stay in houses both in the UK and abroad and yours was the most charming. The information book was very helpful and we did visit a couple of the local markets and a few of the attractions mentioned in the other book. We will recommend it to anyone who mentions wanting to go to France.
Thank you for sharing your home with us and we would love to visit again.

A very relaxing holiday, great weather, 28 degrees most days so the pool got full use. Enjoyed the wildlife: woodpeckers, owls, buzzards. Found the cows charming every morning.

I just want to say how much we all enjoyed staying at Monet Les Blanchardières. We had a great week exploring the area and managed to visit Saumur, Angers and were impressed with the chateau at Azay Le Rideau. We dropped into a wonderful place south of Angers for a degustation and bought some great wine. We really appreciated the quietness of the cottage and the surrounding countryside.
Thank you for letting us share your cottage.

We had a wonderful time …the house was perfect for us and we were able to see so much in the area even with a little rain - it did not really interfere with our days of fun and exploration. Thank you again for all your information. We will be back again I am sure.
